I would like to give a lecture on the datamining business model that is the main source of income behind a lot of web 2.0 companies/websites. also the rise of Google as a total information control company is part of the lecture. focal point: which traces do we leave behind on the net? keywords: data-mining, profile data, monetizing eyeballs, google acquisitions

hello,
I'm coming to etc tomorrow but I finally couldn't make it in preparing
the conference I've promised.
I was planning to give a conference on data-mining and web 2.0 businessmodels as this forms part of an article series I am doing for my
job on Ada-online. But I couldn't yet finish the article referring to
the conference, so I have to withdraw the presentation.
I hope next time I can make it in time.
Here you can find already two of my articles on web 2.0, in french and
dutch (no english):
Web 2.0 (1) : marketing de moteurs de recherche et programmes
d’affiliation - "Le web redevient une source de revenus":
