Orit and Carla will give an introductory performance lecture about the history of sextoys as well as the connection between hacking your old CD drive and mending your socks, and how all of this can turn into the physical pleasure of building an alternative model to todays boring consumer society.

In the playLab we will make our old motors into our brand new vibrators, learning a couple of things about circuits and taking a new look at the objects that surround us.

the playlab will be limited to 16 participant (at most!), and we ask you to bring an old, small DC motor, such as the one in your old CD drive, CD player, walkman, depilating machine, electric toothbrush, etc. also, you might bring an old mobile phone and and empty lipstick. if you can recycle small switches from something, that could also be great.
