  • Money
    • Hivos
      • Hivos rejected our application for the reasons that we are a dutch organization, and they are no longer funding eastern european events
      • the /etc is not a dutch organization, and hivos still lists romania as a country which they fund
      • we don't understand why they rejected the app on the terms - Sara is going to call them to inquire about that
    • fundraiser in punk bar in amsterdam: still on the table!
    • global fund for women: we are still waiting to hear back; Gaba is going to call them soon to check on the status of our application
    • mama cash: still waiting to hear back
    • NCDO
      • http://www.ncdo.nl/index.php?page=20&PHPSESSID=722d548d8a9595e098cc80524...
      • NCDO will double all the funding we get, and they would request a gathering in the netherlands about the /etc before september with possible funders, journalists, etc
      • Sara and Donna are going to work on this information gathering; they will ask the IIAV if they can host it there; maybe they will use upstage
    • kristina is also going to look into some last-minute funding
    • we need a list of basic expenses from women in Romania so we know the bare minimum of money that we need
  • Drupal
    • more people need to use drupal: we will start sending messages to the mailing lists when we use it, for example when we post a forum comment, to get people to pay more attention to it
  • Design
    • we need a logo, asap!
    • Donna is going to post old logos onto drupal for inspiration
    • kristina will send an email with links to old logos on drupal, asking anyone who has the inclination to make a logo
    • all new logos need to be done by the end of june
    • we will decide on a logo during the first week of july; kristina will try to figure out a way to use drupal to keep track of consensus
  • Program
    • it is probably too early to decide on a program, but we need to start discussions about it so that if we have too many workshop proposals, we have a way to decide which ones to use
    • what were the ideas during the Rome meeting regarding the proposal? we hope people will post their memories of it in the forum discussion
    • we hope for some input from the Romanian women about what they think will be most interesting to the people they are expecting to attend
    • we are concerned about whether our participants are going to be activists who are already familiar with computers, or women who aren't familiar with computers
    • we will try to get a discussion started on the forum in drupal about the program
